Atsushi Nakayama joined Angel’s Share in 2014. He fulfilled his role as Head Bartender in 2023 and currently serves as the Beverage Director. Atsushi creates cocktails based on knowledge passed down by many Angel’s Share alumni and from inspiration from the industry community and personal experiences. His presence at Angel’s Share for 10 years has allowed him to focus on maintaining the Angel’s Share concept and building a strong team.
Tsunetaka Imada, head bartender at New York City’s infamous speakeasy Angel’s Share is above all a creator. Beginning his career in Japan, he was instructed in a manner of precision and attention to detail that are synonymous with the Japanese bartending style and remain central to his technique. Finding his home at Angel’s Share, Tsunetaka’s contributions to their well regarded beverage program demonstrate his curiosity and inventiveness, with recipes drawing inspiration from his global travels. Tsunetaka is often engaged in guest shifts or presenting masterclass seminars that shine light on the fundamentals of Japanese bartending as well as his shaking technique and creative processes. Tsunetaka’s creations have been described as stories in a glass, at once elegant and playful and always imbued with a bit of adventure.
