We, at Shōshin Art Club, firmly believe that the real growth,
professional and personal, happens when we confront ourselves with the world’s different realities
using an attitude of openness and freedom from preconceptions,
attaining the right mindset to listen and learn from them.
This is the Beginner’s Mind. This is Shōshin.
And even when you may not fully agree, we expect respect and kindness
towards those who are here for sharing their own knowledge with you, gained
through efforts and many years of experience in a different context, era, and culture than yours.
We sure support boldness when it comes to creativity, because thinking
out of the box is the goal of this virtual Art Club.
If you don’t see your culture, your ethnicity, or your gender represented — please
be aware that this is also just the first round of classes, every month there will be new ones
added regularly and we are committed to ensure diversity and inclusivity.
